roomsDB.net is now available in KL as well!

HOoRah!! roomsDB.net is now available in KL as well! Toss all your room and house-hunting blues out the window! Now, for those wondering what the fuss is all about or have absolutely no idea what roomsDB is, lemme explain.

roomsDB.net is a one stop internet portal for you to search for room rentals. Started in 2004 by Mr Sebastian Ang, it has now become a major success, gaining more clicks and postings daily. Interesting huh? Read more about it on the Staits Times article dated Jul 31 2007.

Browse through its huge database with great ease. All you need is to click on the listings and get very detailed instant information of the property / room offered; which includes a location map, price, room description and other necessities... Its also easy to post for rental ads. All you need is just an email address!! And mind you, the choice is not only available for HDB flats, but also to condominiums and apartments as well. Alas.. Be spoilt for choice.

The listings are divided into broad categories which makes browsing easier. The categories include:

  • Common (for common rooms)
  • Flat (for a whole unit)
  • Master (for master bedrooms)

Upon clicking, you will be directed to a page where all the necessary details are inserted to give you a clearer picture and a better understanding of the property / room that you're interested in. Simple as that.

You can also opt to narrow your search by chosing on the menu which includes;

  • Choose roomtype
  • Choose district
  • Order offers by

You don't have to deal with cumbbersome 3rd parties (agents) but only with the landord themselves. This saves you so much time, money and headache. An absolute must for busy young executives like me who absolutely have no time to go hunting on my own and no moolahs to pay agents.

Great news for all bloggers, roomsDB is also holding a new advertising scheme. Just click here for more info if you want to participate.

FYI, i'm so so so happy that roomsDB has made its way to KL as i'm currently in the midst of looking for a new rental condo soon. My prayers were answered.
