MY American Idol - Jason Castro

I'm in lurve with this chap. A down-to-earth lad with locks and looks so charming, honest and sincere you just can't help but smile... His best performance? To me its definitely is his rendition of Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". I don't know why but his means and demeanor brings tears of joy. I can't help but smile.. Watch this and see if you'll smile with me.

His other best performance that had got me wow-ed and teary eyed was the Hallelujah song he sand during the Finale Show. That is just icing on the cake for me.

To me, although i'm happy for Cook's win, i actually wanted ever so badly for Jason Castro to win. Nothing can be done though as i'm not in America and thus am unqualified for voting. This ain't World Idol sadly enough. Jason Castro has now made his mark for definite. I for one, is ready to cash out for his records winner or no winner. Another true star unnoticed? Nope. I can just see him walking in the paths of Chris Daughtry and Elliot Yamin. MY American Idol; Jason Castro.

OMG Sheena! All the other blogs I've come across has been trashing JC, but finally I found a friend who is gaga over him! Hehehe He's just so gorgeous in that awkward way. I think he's super duper talented, but he just made a lot of bad song choices. Have you heard his version of Gnarls Barkley's Crazy on Youtube? It just rocks like crazy!
