Alhamdullilah, we were blessed with heavy rain after a bout of dry hot sticky days. And when it starts to pour, somehow, everything goes haywire. Crawling jam for hours on end, trains facing technical glitches, accidents, and the list goes on.
I was one of the unlucky few. Kiki and were well on our way back from the office (and stuck) when i heard "krete berasap". True enough, i peered over and saw that the car was indeed fuming! Quickly looked at the temperature gauge and it was over the roof! Needle gone way over the red line! Damn.
Lucky us, we stopped the car next to an old shoplot parking lot. Best of all, there was a pipe nearby. Waited for almost two hours before the engine cooled and we made our move.
The plan this morning was to send Kiki's car to the workshop and use my perdana for the day. Got to the car, and i screamed in horror. My car simply won't start. It's either the starter or the battery.
I guess you guessed it. Got in Kiki's and drove off. Lucky us, the jam wasn't that bad. There was abit of a crawl, but not enough to get the car heated up again. Sigh..
